Where it all begins

Good morning to all my blogging friends! I thought that I would share with you all my crafting space (especially since I got it nice and spiffy clean this weekend). We converted my daughters old bedroom into my studio after she moved out, even though my husband had bought me a shed and wired it with lighting put a/c in etc. I just seemed to always have to run back into the house for something. I was spending most of my time running in and out and little by little I was dragging my things back into the house. I think I just felt isolated out there, and didn't hear the rumblings of the house with the kids and hubby.  I missed their input on what I was making, and just the general hum of a busy house. I know I can drive them all crazy when I get my music going nice and loud and it isn't their taste :) but then again they can get theirs blasting too.. who knows what I will decide to be playing.. it may be Chris Tomlin, Lauren Tally, or Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Dean Martin, then again it could be some 50's or disco lol you just never know what music is going to be pumping out of my studio when I am trying to get my creative juices going. I have decided to give Elsy a whirl again, and this week I will be listing a bunch of prim goodies. Please stop by to see me at http://cedarcreekprimitives.etsy.com Wishing all my blogging friends a wonderful week!

  1. Hello,
Now that's a crafty room. That is what I am working towrds in our retirement house. The remodeling is going slow. I'm sure my craft room will be the last to get the redo so right now when I'm there it's the kitchen and dining room. At least I have a room to store everything. Congrats on your room. Looks like the creative juices flow pretty good in there.

  2. How fortunate you are to have a whole room! I have a craft area but to get a whole room I have to wait till one of my kids move out so I'm content with just an area for the time being. I don't want to rush them out too soon.

It's a wonderful room and lots of shelves and cabinet space... definitely a must!
