Did you ever feel like the chicken with it's head cut off ??

That's how I have felt lately! I feel like I am running in all kinds of different directions and just can't seem to stay focused on the task at hand! I have my daughters baby shower coming up and still have to make a diaper wreath, diaper cake, and get together all the gift bags, not to mention that I have to do all the cooking for that, but that won't happen until the day before the shower.
I also am going back to school, so I have had to run all over the place to get all the needed things done so I could enroll on online classes at the local college. If that isn't enough, I decided I was going to start substitute teaching at a daycare center. So that entailed running around for more things, like finger prints, background check, TB testing etc.  I have huge order for ornaments, and I so want to get so many fall things made.  I start one thing and then before you know it I am doing something else! Did I mention that I have a new puppy in the mix too??? LOL  The puppy doesn't like to be left while I go in my craft room, so she stands at the gate and barks ( which usually signals that she needs to go outside) so I am back and forth over the gate to make sure she potties outside, and then have no idea where I'm at! Oh I forgot to mention that HOT FLASHES Fry my brain!!! LOL  So here's to all the women, with twenty things on their plate! My hat goes off to you! Hopefully I will get some things finished soon!!

  4. I think I need a nap just reading about your activities! And probably a kick in the pants for being a slacker... You sure do have a lot going on! I have been having serious issues with distractibility, too, but I don't have nearly the excitement in my life that you are dealing with. I admire your drive to do things that matter! And I hope you find some time to just breathe deeply and relax even if it's only for a few minutes a day.

  5. Hi Karen Sweetie...
I love this post. Yes I too feel like I am a chicken with her head cut off. I meet myself coming and going most days. I start at 3:30am and usually crawl into bed at 10-11:00pm, only to start all over again the next morning. On weekends I get very little accomplished other than housework, laundry, groceries, church and start all over again. Yep keeps me hopping.

Sounds like you are going to be busy yourself, and you took on a new job for preschool kids. My friend I believe you are glutton for punishment.

And to top it all off, you have a new puppy too? Are you auditioning for Wonder Woman, because if I was on the panel, you would be hired sweetie.

I hope you will share pics of the baby shower. Can't wait to see all the beauty that you create. Take time to smell the roses sweetie.

This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.

Thank you sweetie for a wonderful post. I love it. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry
