It's No Longer a Secret! Secret Treasures Antiques and a Bit More!
I was so happy to find a new antique shop that is so close to home! They aren't really new though, they are in a new location and have expanded into a HUGE building that has room to hold lots and lots of goodies! Brenda and Al are the owners of Secret Treasures and a Bit More. Believe me it is WAY more then just antiques! They have cooking classes, artists, a wood burner, and the most delicious cakes you can ever imagine, along with some fantastic antiques! Oh I don't want to forget to mention that you can even go there and do an old time photo shoot! This is a place that you don't want to miss when you are in the area! Al and Brenda will make you feel right at home, and will answer any questions that you may have! They are located at 1106 Highway 58 Swansboro, NC Now lets take a peek inside :)

Back to the Grape Vine
I was out and about today and figured I would stop by Grape Vine Antiques once again to get some pictures. I didn't get any where near as many as I would have liked to, because in my dash out the door to make it to the post office on time, I forgot to put my memory card back in my camera ... sigh... but I did get to save enough to share with you on my internal memory. So without further ado, here is a little bitty peek inside Grape Vine Antiques located at : 1036 Cedar Point Blvd Cedar Point, NC. This is only one building out of 3, and only a very small portion of the building. Ohhhh how I wish I had oodles of money to shop shop and shop some more!
Next shop that I am visiting is Secret Treasures ... so stay tuned for my next antique hunt in Swansboro, NC!

Funny Face Friday!
Yesterday I was watching my grandson Oliver, and told him no.. well can this little guy make a face or what? After taking the picture, I couldn't believe how much this face reminded me of a bunny I had when I was a little girl, it was stuffed but had a hard rubber face, and it's bottom lip was all pouted out like this! I had a blast playing with my little "pumpkin pie"But, I think I am going to change his name to "Speedy Gonzales" he sure is a lot faster then his Mee Maw, and has hands that are like lightening! I couldn't move quick enough to keep up with his antics! I just love being a Mee Maw!!
On another note I did get some crafting in before I went to my daughters house, I had a custom order for some Raggedy Flowers. I am going to be taking orders for these, if you are interested check out my sales page! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

My trip to Grape Vine Antiques
I have to say that this is one of my favorite shops to visit in my area! I just love the old buildings, and dream about one day having a shop of my own that has this type of look. When I stopped by they were closed but I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of the buildings and the items that they have displayed outdoors. I will be heading back there later this week to get some pictures of the inside and all the wonderful treasures that they have. If you happen to be in the Swansboro/Cedar Creek area of North Carolina, you don't want to miss this shop located on highway 24.
